Leadership has many meanings, but we at ichiban believe that a leader is one who can attract like minded professionals, unify their goals towards a common purpose, provide them the direction, and lead by example. ichiban has been started by two individuals, Raj and Meera, who share this thought and would like to contribute leaders to society. Raj is an MBA in international business from Symbiosis Institute of International Business. Raj’s career has been propelled from a keen desire to ideate and a passion to innovate. During the days after his engineering in computer science, Raj's entrepreneurial instinct saw him establish a successful software training and development firm. Raj has played pivotal role in advising and facilitating many entrepreneurial ventures in the course of the last eight years. His approach to strategic problem solving has been sharpened over the years through serving in top consulting firms including Deloitte. Raj, as co-founder of ichiban, dons the hat of "Principal Strategist" leading the Business Innovation Consulting and Business Technology Consulting practices. A bibliophile and a voracious reader, Raj is known to haunt the management and philosophy section at bookstores. He also indulges in research and writing, considering them as strong channels through which he can connect to like minded, forward thinking audience. Raj is a charismatic speaker who can hold audiences with rapt attention on a variety of topics related to Strategy, Innovation, Management and Philosophy. Meera, co-founder and Principal Consultant at ichiban, is a post graduate from IIT Mumbai. She leads the Process Consulting practice at ichiban. Having had an interesting career that has spanned almost all organizational functions, Meera is known by her ability to provide practical solutions that take into cognizance holistic organizational view. A natural leader, Meera believes in consulting through collaboration rather than advisory participation. She has led at ichiban and earlier, many interesting initiatives across the globe that have provided visible benefits in the delivery capability - for software and software aided firms. Meera's passion is in strategising and deploying innovative initiatives to enhance and mature productivity of both people and processes. Prior to ichiban Meera has served key responsibilities in the area of Software Development, Process Reengineering, Information Security and Risk Management. Meera is a well acknowledged corporate trainer and presenter in the domains of process and quality.
